The app and its provider
This privacy policy applies to the app "Chess Clock: Kibitz", "Chess Clock & Timer: Kibitz", "対局時計 チェスクロック Kibitz" (Google Play package name: com.nskn.chess_clock). The app is provided on Google Play and the App Store by the developer "elle.dev" ("we").
Data on your device
Data you create in the Apps is, in principle, stored only on your device and is not sent to our servers. No account is required. Files you export yourself (such as backups) are managed in the location you choose.
Information handled by external services
To improve the Apps, fix bugs, check purchases or show ads, the Apps may use the external services listed below. Each app uses different services, and each service handles information under its own privacy policy. We do not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address or home address.
External services this app uses
- Firebase Analytics (Google)
- Collects anonymous usage data (such as how often features are used, device type, OS version and approximate region) and an app-specific identifier to improve the app. Privacy Policy
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google)
- Collects crash reports (device type, OS version and error details) to fix bugs. Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat
- Handles purchase history and an anonymous app user ID to check purchase status. It does not handle payment information. Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob
- Uses the advertising identifier (only if you allow it) and device information to show ads. Privacy Policy
Tracking
Apps that do not show ads do not use the advertising identifier (such as IDFA) and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. Apps that show ads use the advertising identifier only if you allow it in your device settings.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your payment information, such as card numbers.
Sharing
We do not sell or share the information we collect with third parties, except where required by law.
Children
The Apps do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the update on this page.
